XR Medical Solutions mobile app donates free subscriptions for one year to Global Hospital, Ambulance, Fire and Senior Care staff 

XR Medical Solutions announced that they are offering a one-year subscription for free of their mobile wellness app to frontliners in the medical and fire fields to help them in dealing with high levels of anxiety, stress, and even depression brought about by the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This subscription offer will last until December 31, 2021.

A recent research was made on the mental health effects of the pandemic and it found that high levels of anxiety symptoms were recorded with up to 50.9 per cent; depression at up to 48.3 per cent; post-traumatic stress disorder at up to 53.8 per cent; psychological distress at up to 38 per cent; and stress at up to 81.9 per cent. These were mostly reported among the general population during the outbreak in China, Spain, Italy, Iran, the US, Turkey, Nepal, and Denmark (Journal of Affective Disorders, volume 227, December 2020, Pages 55-64)
