The company has already deployed WatchGuard’s Unified Threat Management (UTM), and also uses the Dimension security visibility tool to control potential threats.
“Network security is critical to keeping our data and the customers’ data safe,” said HMSHost, CIO Sarah Naqvi in a press release. “We choose to work with WatchGuard because they not only had the best combination of security services, performance and affordability, but also because they had great reporting capabilities for PCI so we can more easily ensure compliance standards are met.”
HMSHost, which operates over 100 airport restaurants worldwide, plans to implement several of WatchGuard’s products across its entire roster of franchises.
WatchGuard will provide HMSHost with their entire line of security services. These include filtering, intrusion prevention, WebBlocker and Gateway AntiVirus and Advanced Persistent Threat Protection.
“HMSHost has deployed hundreds of our appliances around the world and more than 200 of them are reporting data back into WatchGuard Dimension,” said Alex Thurber, VP of sales at WatchGuard.
“This enables the company to quickly identify problems, threats or trends, and also allows them to proactively evaluate policies in real-time and instantly produce reports for IPS, Servers and much more.”
