Super Thin TV
LG officially introduced its W-Series OLED TV on Wednesday of this week at CES 2017. At just over 2 millimeters thin, the W-Series OLED TV from LG looks like a wallpaper. The W-Series is available in 65-inch and 77-inch options and can be mounted to a wall with a remarkably simple system setting the TV flush against the wall with no gaps. The 65-inch model weights just 17 pounds, while the 77-inch model is 27-pounds. So this new product from LG is not only thin but also light.
Ford’s WiFi Hotspot
Another announcement coming out of CES 2017 is that Ford is planning to add a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot to some of its models starting later this year. The Wi-Fi hotspot will use 4G LTE network from AT&T and can support up to 10 devices at a time. When the car is parked, the Wi-Fi can be accessed from 50 feet away due to its external antenna.
A key feature of this new product is for those times when you find it so hard to find your vehicle in a crowded parking lot. After parking, you will receive a prompt on your smartwatch asking if you want to log your parking spot like the level, column and other location details. On returning to your car you can receive directions to get back to the parking spot using your smartwatch.
