Vivo reveals Picture of the Year and Winning Creations in Vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Awards 2020
Vivo has recently revealed the Picture of the Year and announced winning creations in vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Awards 2020 with photographers participating worldwide through using their mobile lens. The awards were created as part of the company’s devotion to advocating for mobile photography technology and visual aesthetic exploration. The works of the various photographers are now available on display which marks a promising start to the continued vivo VISION+ ecosystem.
Partnering with National Geographic
As an important component of the VISION+ initiative, vivo has partnered with National Geographic for the vivo VISION+ Mobile Photography Awards 2020, which is focused on high quality imaging and optics that is able to capture the essence of individual emotions and being human with “JOY IMAGE” as the main theme.
Various photographers from all around the world were invited to discover, capture and communicate through their mobile phone cameras. The initiative lasted for two months and after which, vivo received over 135,000 mobile photo and video entries from nine countries including the United Kingdom, France, Spain, China, and Vietnam. Out of these, 37 creations were selected by a panel of judges which were made up of top photographers and experts in imagery such as Steve McCurry and Michael Halsband.
The outstanding winning creations are currently made public and available for viewing on the vivo VISION+ official website (https://visionplus.vivo.com/).
