“Enterprises today are facing increased demand from their mobile workforce to access, sync and share corporate data that is distributed across many corporate repositories behind the firewall as well as in the cloud (like Google Drive), to remain productive everywhere,” Gary Cooke, chief solutions architect for Vaultize said in a press release.
“The challenges for enterprise IT are multifold when the data goes beyond the company-managed devices to employee-owned devices through Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD),” Cooke added. “Vaultize takes a holistic approach where mobility management, data protection and data loss prevention capabilities are fully integrated into a single enterprise platform to mitigate security, data loss and compliance risks.”
The beta release of Vaultize’s anywhere access connector is optimized for
Google Drive, and features built-in enterprise mobility management, data protection and data loss prevention. It allows users to edit and share corporate data through Google Drive, file servers and NAS from mobile devices.
