Unisys’ ECM allows users to electronically capture, store, distribute, annotate and print images of documents. InfoImage’s Scan Manager performs the capture of the image, then adds a bar code and catalogs it. Once a user creates the digital version of a document, it can be stored, archived and retrieved. The ECM supports full text indexing and searching of every document in the digital repository.
The SaaS iteration of InfoImage is hosted in Unisys data centres through the company’s private cloud solution. Customers can add Unisys’ Stealth solution, which provides an extra layer of security protection for information and critical transactional data and content.{mospagebreak}“Unisys continues to add new features and innovative capabilities to our InfoImage enterprise content management solution line,” said Paul Barber, vice president, Unisys ECM Solutions. “For organizations with high-volume document requirements, our InfoImage software suite provides a proven solution used by clients around the world. And now, with our software-as-a-service option, those benefits are easier than ever to access.”
The analyst firm CEB TowerGroup recently deemed InfoImage as a “best in class” provider for enterprise operations support in its report on ECMs for retail banking technology.
