Trend Micro transforms its channel partners program into advanced cloud security and services 

Trend Micro announced that it will transform its partner program to provide more cloud resources, services, and rewards for its partners through added discounts for enabling businesses and organizations to strengthen its public cloud security. The goal of the refreshed program is to make it more profitable for partners that closely work with clients to deploy cloud security services being offered by Trend Micro through its authorized distributors and through the AWS Marketplace or the AWS Consulting Partner Private Offer program.

Over the past year, digital transformation has emerged and expanded which is slowly transitioning work to the cloud to be able to support remote working, make business processes more efficient, and drive innovation into organizations. Channels partners are able to support these businesses through a cybersecurity partner that can help secure a wide range of application environments.

The channel strategy by Trend Micro has been known and recognized widely with four achievements this year including an award from CRN with a 5-star rating in its 2021 partner program guide recognizing it as part of the Top 100 Coolest Cloud Companies list and the Top 100 Security Companies list. It was also awarded as a Champion in the Canalys Global Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix for 2020 because of the increased investment in its channel-first strategy to assist partners drive SaaS business across its portfolio.
