“The lack of visibility and collaboration across the enterprise in the early stages of the software development lifecycle is sabotaging many IT projects,” says Dan Shimmerman, president and CEO, Blueprint. “Blueprint v5.4 helps more people from across the enterprise make better decisions earlier in the software development lifecycle by easily sharing requirements information with all of those who need it. It also lets executives see which projects are at risk from the very early stages, long before any issues would typically be detected.”
Version 5.4 facilitates collaboration between teams, business analysts, and developers. It has a number of integration capabilities that enable bi-directional data synchronization with agile ALM solutions, such as IBM Rational Team Concert, JIRA, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Rally, and VersionOne.
Blueprint Analytics gives users insight into a project at any point in its lifecycle. With version 5.4, any information held within Blueprint’s system is available to customers’ existing business intelligence products, including Key Performance Indicators so that executives will have a clear understanding of project risk and health at any point in the lifecycle.
Additionally, the product supports electronic signatures as part of formal reviews, and review coordinators can ask for electronic signatures from reviewers whose approval is requested on specific requirements artifacts.
