The Light Phone is a mobile phone that is used for just making and receiving phone calls. The aim is to simplify your life and make it distraction free. I know some people carry a second phone around, so as to keep work and personal life separate or to have a less expensive device for outdoor uses like when you go on that hike or jogging.
Whatever your reason is to get the second phone the Light Phone seems like an option to consider. Being marketed as your phone away from phone, its size is the same as a credit card with a thickness of about five credit cards stacked together which is still thinner than the iPhone 7 plus.
The Light Phone comes in matte white colour and weights 38.5 grammes, by comparison, the iPhone 7 weights about 100 grammes more. It has an OLED display with a battery that lasts for three days on standby mode. It works with a Nano SIM on GSM 850/900 1800/1900 MHz bands and comes with a micro USB connector.
In the U.S. you can set up this phone to receive call forwarding from your primary smartphone, which has a $5 monthly service fee. For international users, this phone can be used as a standalone with no service fee.
If you are interested in getting one of these, the Light Phone is on pre-order for $150 US and you can learn more by going here.
