The company offers an add-on for its NoTouch Desktop for Fluendo ONEPLAY Codec Pack, after collaborating with the latter. ONEPLAY enables multimedia streaming on devices and operating systems, as well as on repurposed PCs, thin clients and notebooks. Multimedia redirection for VMware Horizon and Citrix is offered to NoTouch users.
“Fluendo is transforming the way businesses access and use multimedia applications,” said Fluendo CEO Muriel Paumier-Moscardini, in a press release. “Our partnership with Stratodesk extends our reach to the growing number of virtual desktops, making it easier for organizations to deliver ONEPLAY to their diverse end-user communities.”
FabulaTech, a USB virtualization company, added in its USB for remote desktop plug-in integrating with Stratodesk, for its NoTouch receiver. Clients can locally connect USB devices in their terminal sessions as if they would plug in directly into the remote site, which is useful for Microsoft remote desktop services, Hyper-V VDI, and other RDP protocol software.
These integrated capabilities and features are being demonstrated from August 24th to 28th at the VMworld 2014 conference inSan Francisco, booth (#2429). Stratodesk will also demonstrate how to transform PCs and laptops into smart zero clients at this conference.
