Version 188.8.131.52 of SBAdmin includes support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 7 (RHEL). SBAdmin is optimized to provide backup and disaster management for Linux containers, and also includes flexible, full-system recovery for foreign hardware via its Adaptable System Recovery (ASR) process.
Other key features of Version 184.108.40.206 include compatibility with Docker Linux containers, process and service management with systemd, new network device management, and support for the XFS file system and Grub2 bootloader.
“The RHEL7 boot process is significantly different from previous releases and we have worked very hard to ensure customers have the protection they need,” David Huffman, president and CEO of Storix, Inc. said in a press release. “As a Red Hat Ready Partner, we have been working for some time to ensure our support was available soon after the RHEL7 release.”
