One such company is Sony; the company and Bell Canada Enterprises have recently announced the launch of the next-generation Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone in Canada. With the launch of the Xperia Z5, Sony is looking to bring a smartphone that will appeal to a unique group of users who want a device that can function as a powerful camera as well as a smartphone.
Being marketed as a mobile camera unlike any other, the Xperia Z5 features a 23MP Exmor RS mobile senor, 5x clear image zoom and Sony’s image processing which delivers a clear and vivid image quality every time you take a shot. Also, with its ultra fast hybrid autofocus at 0.03 seconds, which is faster than the blink of an eye, shooting action shots with your phone is actually possible. The phone also offers an improved Sony’s SteadyShot technology with an Intelligent Active Mode that allows customers to record video more smoothly in bumpy conditions.
“Smartphones have become an extension of people’s lives and we are excited to share the latest device in the Xperia series with Canadians,” said Ravi Nookala, President Sony Mobile Communications North America. “Smartphone users create, share and enjoy most of their content on the go and with Sony’s latest innovations in camera, design and entertainment integration, we set out to make the Xperia Z5 the best possible lifestyle platform available.”
Esthetically the Xperia Z5 has a slim continuous plate form design, a metal frame and frosted glass. It includes a cap-less USB for easy charging and an integrated fingerprint sensor power button. Under the hood the Xperia Z5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, a 64 bit octa-core processor, and ultra-fast 4G LTE speeds. It also comes equipped with up to two-days of battery life with a power management that puts customers in control of battery life.
Entertainment is another focus for the phone. The featured High-Res Audio delivers accurate sound recording at a near studio quality. PS4 users can also keep playing PlayStation4 games wherever they are in their home through PS4 Remote Play. This can be done by simply connecting the Xperia Z5 to a PS4 via home Wi-Fi and then using the Wireless Controller to keep playing throughout the home.
The Sony Xperia Z5 comes in white and graphite black and will be available exclusively from Bell Mobility on October 29, 2015. To learn more about Xperia Z5, please visit Bell.ca/XperiaZ5.
