Users can access content within IBM Content Manager using Snowbound’s family of document viewers, which includes VirtualViewer HTML5. VirtualViewer HTML5 does not require client-side installations, downloads or plug-ins and can be easily maintained and updated by IT departments.
With the ICN connector, users can view documents in a number of formats, including PDF, AFP, PCL, JPEG, MS Office and TIFF. Additionally, users will have access to document processing features such as picture controls, text search and split image panel viewing.
“Our ICN connector enhancements are the latest in Snowbound’s continued efforts to provide IBM customers with solutions tailored to their unique needs,” said George Farnham, VP of sales, Snowbound.
“The connector provides intuitive connectivity to IBM’s powerful Content Manager, making users more efficient without adding any additional burden on IT. Snowbound is excited to bring this solution to market, and we look forward to helping our joint IBM customers quickly and easily implement powerful viewing solutions for all requirements.”
Snowbound will showcase the ICN connector at IBM’s Information on Demand conference from November 3 to 7.
