Available for iPad and iPhone, Media Shuttle’s new mobile app utilizes a hybrid SaaS file transfer system which allows users to securely transfer files of any size from remote locations.
“In today’s increasingly mobile business landscape, employees working remotely or in the field need the ability to quickly and easily send critical assets back to home base,” Rick Clarkson, VP of product management for Signiant, said in a press release. “We developed the Media Shuttle Mobile App to meet our customers’ demands for field access to the product they rely on to move high-value content.”
Designed with media outlets in mind, the free app can be easily incorporated into the daily operations of a newsroom. It enables reporters to upload breaking news content from their mobile devices to Media Shuttle portals, and allows citizen-operated news initiatives to share their own content with their respective audiences.
