Dell has announced the launch of the latest editions of its Vostro notebook line. Created to help a variety of enterprise users, from work-at-home professionals to small businesses remain productive, the 14- and 15-inch Vostro 3000 Series notebooks offer a cost-effective alternative.
“We are launching these new products and expanding the availability of our Vostro line in response to feedback from customers who are seeking this business solution from Dell, and input from our valued channel partners,” Phil Bryant, vice president of Consumer and Small Business Sales for Dell said in a press release.
“The Vostro line has long been synonymous with productivity for the working professional and small businesses, and the next generation Vostro 3000 Series notebooks will pack the optimal processors, graphics options, connectivity ports and design details to help customers or business users get more done during their workday,” Bryant added.
Equipped with the latest Intel processors, available up to core i5, the Vostro notebooks offer extended battery life for easier mobile use. The battery of the 14-inch variant provides up to nine hours of power, while the 15 has a battery life of 8 hours and 42 minutes.
Other key features include optional built-in discrete NVIDIA graphics, up to 2GB of memory and 8GB of high-speed RAM. The notebooks also include various features specifically designed for enterprise mobility, such as anti-glare FHD displays, Gigabit Ethernet, optical drives, VGA output, and up to 1TB HDD for data storage.
At only 1 inch thin, the updated Vostro 3000 Series devices are also among Dell’s slimmest notebooks to date. Also relatively slim is their price, which is listed at CDN$449.
