Sharing files and information in the customer-grade level generates data confidentiality, data sovereignty, integration, and security risks, as well as other legal compliance concerns.
To rectify this situation, OpenText Tempo Box offers an enterprise-grade, file sync and share solution for these organizations. Users can share and synchronize enterprise information, while leveraging the latest smartphones and tablets.
“Companies need a simple, integrated solution for employees that offers a level of governance to ensure corporate data is well protected,” said Muhi Majzoub, SVP of engineering, OpenText, in a press release. “While there are low-cost consumer options available, none offer the security and data control benefits of an enterprise solution. With Tempo Box, employees have the file sharing solution they want and companies have confidence that the enterprise remains protected with consistent governance.”
Organizations can remotely and securely clear any proprietary company data in a mobile device when needed, manipulate permissions and file storage, communicate between repository, web and remote nodes like laptops and mobile devices, and encode mobile content for iOS, Android and Blackberry.
Tempo Box is available as part of the Content Suite 10.5 Platform from July 8th and also available for OpenText Extended ECM for SAP 10.5 users, in all currently available languages.
