The contest was hosted as part of the first-ever QuickBooks Connect conference. Method won placed first overall amongst 45 other teams in which an original app had to designed and deployed within 36 hours.
The prize announcement came from the QuickBooks Connect keynote presentation and was revealed by Intuit CEO Brad Smith.
Method’s entry, Method:Donor, is designed to send charitable gifts for non-profit organizations and process those within the QuickBooks environment.
“This win is a huge validation of the possibility that Method can provide its users with,” said Method founder and CEO Paul Jackson, in a press release. “Our winning app was designed using Method’s drag-and-drop app creation and customization environment. It is a great example of the level of depth and personalization our solution can provide users and partners. We can’t wait to see the app go live on Apps.com so our not-for-profit customers can get as much as enjoyment and satisfaction out of using the app as we did in creating it.”
Method:Donor will soon be available for download at Apps.com.
