LG Electronics (LG) has launched an integrated Amazon Music app for its OLED, NanoCell and smart LCD TVs made between 2016 and 2020. These are now made in key locations across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
In Canada alone, Amazon Prime members can access up to one million hand-curated songs and over 1,000 playlists and stations via Amazon Music with no added costs to their membership. Subscribers to the service’s premium subscription tier, Amazon Music Unlimited can access to a million more songs and thousands of playlists and stations. Consumers who have not yet tried Amazon Music Unlimited will also be fit to receive an extended 90-day free trial when they register an eligible LG TV with Alexa.
Users with compatible LG smart TV can also play their favourite music hands-free using its voice feature and the advanced LG Magic Remote. Aside from this, users can also connect two Bluetooth speakers simultaneously with LG’s 2020 TVs’ Bluetooth Surround ready feature with virtual 4.0 surround sound.
“Bringing Amazon Music support to LG TVs is another example of the added value benefits our customers receive after the initial purchase,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Home Entertainment Company.
