Version 5.0 of the company’s Kodak Capture Pro software enables enterprises to achieve better accuracy efficiency and productivity through document scanning. Additionally, the software will also help to make the process as cost effective as possible.
“Our customers can be found in literally any vertical and horizontal paper-based business application. They use Capture Pro software to turn documents into shareable, searchable data across their organization,” said Tony Barbeau, GM of products and solutions and VP of Document Imaging for Kodak Alaris in a press release. “With each version, we have enhanced the functionality to address the changing demands of information capture. Based on valuable feedback from our Voice of the Customer program, we have made a number of improvements in Capture Pro v5.0 including a simpler user interface and several productivity enhancements.”
The new version is optimized for Windows 8.1, and includes several key enhancements. Examples include a new user interface that enables users to start a scanning job with a single click, auto-deletion of header sheets for easier documents separation, and the ability to create multiple document splits.
