The services will help its users speed up deployment, drive down implementation costs, and increase sales of Cisco’s collaboration products for Ingram Micro’s Canadian partners.
Cisco partners can use a custom-built portal to select applications their end customers would like to have installed on their servers, giving those partners the ability to deploy their Cisco collaboration solutions right out of the box.
“With these new CTO services, we’re eliminating time-consuming steps in the configuration process to help our mutual channel partners deliver world-class collaboration solutions to their end customers in record time,” said Ian Gallagher, GM, collaboration, Cisco Canada.
Channel partners that have used the services have reported a time savings of up to three days per order.
The configuration services are managed by Ingram Micro’s Cisco-authorized technicians in the company’s Configuration Centre in Mississauga. Ingram Micro has been an authorized distributor of Cisco’s Unified Computing Systems C-Series Build-to-Order since March 2013.
“Ingram Micro continues to build upon its ability to provide greater value to our reseller partners and help them increase the speed and efficiency with which they do business,” said Dave Mason, executive director, sales, Ingram Micro Canada. “By providing these new Cisco CTO services to our mutual partners, we’re positioning them to gain a clear competitive advantage in the market and take their collaboration business to the next level.”
