This two-day program trains pre-sale engineers (SEs) and solution architects for security, automation and network control of Infoblox products. Infoblox certifies them for DNS, DNS security and IPv6 essentials.
Infoblox estimates that its SEs trained in IASA are good enough to double the sales in comparison to partners who are yet to be trained in the program.
“Taking sales engineers and solution architects out of the field for two days is a significant commitment, and we’re deeply grateful for the enthusiastic support of our partners in growing the IASA program much faster than we expected,” shared Tim Colby, VP, worldwide channel sales, Infoblox, in a press release. “Many of our partners have told us, after completing IASA training, that the program helped them uncover new opportunities with their customers. With an increase in DNS attacks since 2012, we expect to see strong interest from our security-focused channels in our new DSE workshops to help them extend their security approach with their customers with a stronger emphasis on DNS. According to Prolexic, DNS attacks grew by 216 % from 2012 to 2013.”
This program has nearly doubled the certified professionals during this past year. DNS security expert (DSE) is another certification available through this program. Trainees will advance from the base-level IASA certification to the DSE certification, and the DSE program focuses on Infoblox’s advanced DNS security portfolio.
