The new offering addresses the need for flexibility to deploy apps to a private, public or hosted cloud and to get out of the “one cloud fits all” model and to reduce vendor lock-in.
The software is also designed to be seamless, and the Helion OpenStack and Helion Development Platform provide an integrated IaaS and PaaS solution for cloud computing.
OpenStack enables users to reduce operating costs by taking advantage of the open source distributed computing platform. With Helion Development Platform, users can develop and deploy new cloud-native applications using various programming languages and apps.
OpenStack is optimized for use with Java, Ruby, Node.js, PHP, Python and Perl. It is also compatible with multiple database services like PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Memcache and Trove.
Developers can also integrate cloud-native apps into compute resources without any additional labour with Docker containers.
