At the two day conference, which ran until October 21, the Summit Series proved to be a highlight as it was quite informative. The workshops and keynotes made the event educational, especially a selection of tracks from a pre-event Cyber Security program MC being hosted by Michael Argast, Director of Telus Security Solutions for Western Canada.
There were discussions on how to prepare for data breaches, deal with associated business costs and best practices for mitigating threats for your enterprise. To another seminar on the last day on the Region of Peel’s Digital Transformation of Government. The Exhibition area hosted everything from major technology players right down to new start ups, who are interesting to hear from as they are always announcing or discussing their newest offerings. From Adobe to first time exhibitor HRPO Recruitment & staffing, member of The Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB) who brought a life sized mascot, a half day could easily be spent visiting the exhibition itself.
