The GO!Enterprise mobility platform consists of three main components: GO!Development Studio, which allows for codeless and rapid development of GO!Apps; GO!Mobile Client, a secure managed container that hosts and renders GO!Apps on mobile devices; and the GO!Enterprise Server, a middleware server that enables secure communication with back-end systems, data synchronization and mobile application management. A GO!App is an application definition file, the result of a GO!Enterprise project.
Globo believes that GO!Enterprise meets the most important aspects of enterprise mobility requirements. Its solution includes a productivity and collaboration suite as well as an advanced application development and management environment.
As a member of IBM’s PartnerWorld, Globo will be able to take advantage of the benefits for sales, marketing and technical solutions. The company will also have access to R&D resources, which enables it to create new profit models and implement product offerings through a wide array of technologies. Advanced membership gives Globo a framework in which to collaborate with IBM executives, sales teams, and other business partners for strategic initiatives and market specific solutions.
“This partnership with IBM, a world class information technology leader, is a major coup for Globo. It follows a rigorous assessment of GO!Enterprise which has proved its market leadership in terms of security, functionality and effectiveness in enabling businesses to address the BYOD trend. It also demonstrates Globo’s commitment to expanding its international partner-focused growth strategy in the enterprise mobility space,” said Costis Papadimitrakopoulos, CEO, Globo.
