The Toronto-based provider of targeted mobile, social, video, and online advertising has named Dilshan Kathriarachchi, former president of Addictive Mobility, its new CTO of advertising operations.
Kathriarachchi was also recently featured on Marketing Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list for his accomplishments in the mobile advertising industry.
“We are excited to have Dilshan join our team.” said Geoffrey Rotstein, CEO, EQ Works, in a release. “Dilshan joins us during a period of rapid expansion and his expertise and insights perfectly complement the work Jack has been doing and the existing technology foundation of our organization. His decision to be a part of our team is a strong testament to our success to date and the exciting growth strategy being pursued.”
Kathriarachchi’s appointment was joined by that of Jack Chung, who has been named EQ’s VP of product development.
Together, Kathriarachchi and Chung will work to streamline the development and release of products and platform enhancements.
“In a very short time, EQ has built very powerful media platforms and is quickly gaining recognition in the industry as a formidable competitor,” said Kathriarachchi. “EQ’s commitment to delivering the most effective cross platform advertising solutions is very exciting, and I’m thrilled to be able to work with the team to continue to innovate in this fast-paced industry.”
