Apple Swift is now open source to allow for programmers and developers in some of Apple’s Enterprise partnerships to develop frontward facing apps that use Swift, that will ultimately report back to servers which use Swift as well. Apple has announced Swift is slated to be the backbone of Apple development for the next few decades.
