Dell launches UltraSharp Monitors and meeting space solutions for people working from home
Dell recently announced the launch of their new products which involve new displays and meeting systems perfect for professionals in hybrid work environments.
One of these is the expanded UltraSharp Monitor which features high quality technology with its mini-LED, built-in colorimeter and low blue light reduction screens.
“Our monitors have always been the most desired companion to any PC, and our new line is no different. We’re helping customers push productivity to the edge while delivering great performance, style and comfort,” said Bert Park, senior vice president and general manager, Software & Peripherals Product Group, Dell Technologies.
Color accuracy, contrast and precision
Creative professionals need on color accurate displays to make their outputs. With the Dell UltraSharp 32 HDR PremierColor Monitor (UP3221Q) and its 2K mini-LED direct backlit dimming zones, backlight zones can be controlled to give out contrast with deep blacks and bright whites.
The 32-inch UltraSharp allows a precise and uniform color reproduction of film and video content with the widest DCI-P3 color coverage at 99.8%, 4K resolution and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 features. Aside from this, it takes pride in it being the world’s first monitor with a built-in Calman® Powered colorimeter4, giving designers the flexibility of on-demand or scheduled calibration with or without the PC attached.
Eye comfort and wider screen space
The Dell UltraSharp 24 USB-C Hub Monitor (U2421E) and Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor are two products that offer a balance between functionality and comfort.
It was created with the goal of wellness as the 24-inch UltraSharp Monitor features a 16:10 aspect ratio and created with ComfortView Plus – a built-in, TÜV Rheinland-certified Hardware Low Blue Light solution that maintains color accuracy on the screen and minimizes blue light emission to optimize eye comfort. On the other hand, the 24-inch InfinityEdge’s display gives more on-screen real estate. Lastly, the 34-inch UltraSharp Monitor leverages on its WQHD resolution, 95% DCI-P3 color coverage and provides an immersive audiovisual experience with three-sided ultra-thin borders and built-in dual speakers.
Meeting Space Solutions
With the new normal, how meetings are conducted should also be changed to better support the hybrid environment employees are now working in.
Dell’s Meeting Space Solution allows a collaboration ecosystem within the Microsoft Teams Rooms that includes the OptiPlex 7080 Micro in-charge of running the whole experience. Employees can readily start meetings, and present content easily to virtual participants on time with its proximity detection and one-touch join.
Plug and play magnetic soundbar
Dell also announced its new P-series monitors (P2721Q, P3221D, P3421W) and the new 24-inch UltraSharp monitor that can be paired with the latest audio technology – the Dell Slim Soundbar(SB521A). The Dell Soundbar attached magnetically to the bottom of the display and allows users to tilt, swivel and pivot the monitor without the soundbar getting in the way. This slim and light product is also powerful with its 3.6W speakers that deliver high quality sound in an easy plug and play setup – no software required.
