Dell announces integration with latest VMware HCI software

Dell Technologies announced its integration with the recent VMware HCI software and Tanzu offerings. This will be available on Dell EMC VxRail integration. Aside from this, consumers can also enjoy new features in vSAN, vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation. This is made specially for VxRail customers, regardless of their level of adopting Tanzu for Kubernetes orchestration and modern application development.

VxRail rolls out “Kubernetes at Cloud Speed” with multiple, fully integrated HCI infrastructure options to run vSphere with Tanzu. With this, clients can easily accelerate application modernization. To add to this, Dell is the only HCI vendor offering an end-to-end integrated Tanzu portfolio with reference architecture, cluster, and private cloud offerings which are all on VxRail.

Consumers can now customize those that fit their organizations’ operating model and Kubernetes expertise level. The Dell Technologies Cloud Platform, running Tanzu on VxRail delivers the following:

  • Accelerated adoption: The customized VxRail systems are fully integrated and ready for deployment. Aside from this, it also has an automated infrastructure deployment and cloud-like resource pooling, elasticity, agility/speed, and programmability that accelerates Kubernetes infrastructure delivery so any developer can implement based on today’s digital pace.
  • Customized Kubernetes: Clients are given the choice of infrastructure delivery with consistent operations that align to their organization’s operating model.
  • Fast Kubernetes evolution: It offers a lock step support for the latest VMware Kubernetes advancements. With the automated full stack lifecycle management and non-disruptive addition of next generation platforms of the VxRail, clients can take advantage of the evolving Kubernetes technology on a fully automated infrastructure.

“VMware Tanzu on VxRail will provide customers with immediate value – delivering an easy to deploy and manage stack that runs both modern and traditional applications,” said Krish Prasad, SVP CPBU and GM vSphere, VMware.

Whether developers are ready to integrate their work to Tanzu or want to upgrade to latest innovations in HCI, VxRail covers all these through the latest VMware HCI software releases.
