“Citrix leads the industry in enabling mobile network operators to measure the quality of the mobile data experience and in giving them the ability to act on that information,” said Chris Koopmans, VP and GM, Service Provider Platforms, Citrix. “By leveraging Zettics’ analytics, Citrix will be able to expand the scope of mobile data usage information available to the operator, providing new tools to improve network quality, subscriber retention and profitability.”
By integrating Zettics’ products into its portfolio, Citrix will be better equipped to assist operators in capturing and analyzing all of the data usage on their networks and take action based on it. It will further enable the combination of data from ByteMobile platforms and data from other network sources to deliver new mobile analytics solutions.
“We are excited to be partnering with Citrix to accelerate adoption and expand the reach of our proven analytics capabilities,” said Sterling Wilson, CEO, Zettics. “Citrix has deep experience and proven success in selling sophisticated solutions to operators around the world. This makes them an excellent partner to expand on the value of Zettics’ technology. I am confident that this partnership will deliver significant business value to operators globally.”
Both companies expect that the agreement will yield new product offerings in the first half of 2014.
