A recent survey commissioned by Dell and Intel found that two in five Canadians (or 42 per cent) believe their workplace “is not smart enough.” Over a third of respondents (35 per cent) said the technology they have at home “is more cutting edge” than the one their employer provides.
Such numbers should be a wake-up call for Canadian employers, according to Carolyn Rollins, chief marketing officer at Dell EMC Canada.
“But this survey shows that for both millennials and workers aged 35 and above, access to mobile and collaboration technology in the workplace are important for productivity and work-life balance,” she said in an interview with WrlWnd.com. “What this survey is saying is that if companies fail to change, it will be a challenge for them to get the talent they need.
