VMS Access is a product that integrates vendor management systems (VMS) and corporate procurement and automates data integration and job-filling in 350 global enterprises.
Bullhorn believes this acquisition will speed up the integration between core recruitment providers and make use of the $90 billion market.
TCW’s research and development team will work for Bullhorn through the latter’s platform of services to enhance front office productivity as companies transition to SaaS-based services.
The platform will feature managed service providers (MSPs) which include client and candidate portals for staffing agencies to work as MSPs within Bullhorn’s lines of business.
Bullhorn will use TCW’s technology as a platform to utilize VMS solutions for its staffing concerns’ operations globally. Seventy percent of enterprises including fortune 500 companies will leverage VMS solutions to manage their buying of temporary labor.
“With this acquisition, we’re enabling companies to move their front office solutions to the cloud and to take advantage of Web-enabled services that power better decision-making and additional revenue opportunities,” said Art Papas, founder and CEO of Bullhorn, in a press release.
“Bullhorn VMS Access will help drive Bullhorn’s growth in the VMS industry and beyond. This vendor neutral solution extends Bullhorn’s product portfolio and will allow us to develop new offerings to help improve customer productivity,” Papas added. “Long-term, the Bullhorn VMS Access development team will help drive the development of Bullhorn’s data integration offerings, fundamental to our cloud-based Big Data offerings. To drive better decision-making, companies are looking to integrate data from a variety of sources online; Bullhorn VMS Access will provide that engine for our customers.”
Jonathan Novich, co-founder and president of TCW, will be the new GM of Bullhorn.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Bullhorn for several reasons,” said Novich. “First, they’re the clear market leader, so it makes good business sense to be aligned with them and to leverage their expansive resources to grow our offerings and provide better service to customers. Being a part of the Bullhorn family will enable rapid product expansion and accelerated platform development for customers of Bullhorn and The Code Works Inc. Beyond that, they have a strong vision for the future with Bullhorn providing a comprehensive set of cloud-based, front office services to help companies manage their customer relationships better. We’re excited to be part of that vision.”
