The new offerings from the company’s Avnet Services suite will provide educational insight on many technical areas linked to IBM, including AIX, Business Analytics, Content Manager and developments for both Java-based and mobile platforms.
“We are continually evaluating the needs of the technology industry to determine the type of training that is most beneficial in solving business challenges,” Matt Fox, senior director of education services for Avnet Services Americas said in a press release. “These classes, offered through AvnetAcademy, build on and supplement the world-class education developed by IBM, and they deliver more in-depth coverage of each subject for an enhanced and comprehensive learning experience.”
Developed in conjunction with IBM, the AvnetAcademy courses are based on real-world examples, and are specifically designed to expedite the learning process. Available as online or on-site, instructor-led course, they will initially be available across North America, but could later be offered worldwide.
