Users can install the suite in less than 10 minutes and has simplified policy templates for desktops and large-scale setups. The suite has enhanced deployment capabilities, enhanced DaaS enterprise support for clouds and provides on-demand end-user entitlements for maximum productivity.
“A growing number of organizations are moving to heterogeneous environments that combine physical PCs with virtual desktop technologies from key AppSense partners like Citrix and VMware,” explained Ravi Khatod, SVP of Marketing at AppSense, in a press release. “AppSense DesktopNow offers IT teams a unified approach to delivering the seamless desktop experience that users need to be productive while maintaining security and operational efficiencies.”
DesktopNow needs fewer system resources and less storage capacity than prior versions. AppSense believes this will reduce IT capital costs and contribute to a broader desktop environment, while reducing the number of help desk tickets thus lowering IT operational expenditures.
