The company announced a new entry-level iPhone, called XR, which starts from $749. It comes in white, black, red, blue and yellow finishes. This phone is composed of aluminum, unlike the glass bodies of other models.
Apple also introduced the iPhone XS, which is a faster and lighter version of last year’s iPhone X. The XS comes in two screen sizes, the iPhone XS at 5.8 inches and the iPhone XS Max at 6.5 inches. The XS Max is Apple’s largest iPhone to date. The phones start at $999 and $1099 respectively. This is a price increase over last year’s model.
The Series 4 Apple Watch comes with a larger screen and has more health-related functions. This is the first redesign of the Apple Watch since it was introduced in 2015. The new watch is thinner and the “bezels” has been removed to create a larger display area. One function that was added can detect when a wearer has fallen down and could call for emergency assistance. The watch can also perform a heart-rhythm test called an electrocardiogram, which is the first over-the-counter ECG device offered to consumers.
You can order the Apple Watch Series 4 starting from September 14th and will be available for sale from September 21. Both versions of the iPhones XS will be available from September 21 as well.
