Another area that Amazon is looking to expand into is clothing. This is an exciting model where the company is attempting to mimic the experience you get when you go to a brick and mortar store to shop for clothes.
With this new initiative, Prime members can order clothes online without paying for them. The items will be shipped to the members’ homes where they can try on the clothes. If it doesn’t fit, they can return them at no charge. If it fits well and the person decides to keep them, then in seven days the payment will be processed.
Amazon Prime members can order from three to eight items.

Normally, the thing about buying clothes online is that once you’ve placed the order, you’re charged for it. Additionally, without trying out the clothing item, there is a greater chance you will return it and wait for your refund to be processed. With Prime Wardrobe, this new service from Amazon, you are not charged for your items immediately and as such you don’t have to wait for your refund. You can return within the time limit at no charge or refund.
Amazon is trying to break into the fashion line with this newest offer. With this service more brands will offer their products on Amazon, making the online giant a big retailer for clothing.
Prime Wardrobe is available in the U.S. at this time at no additional cost to existing Prime members.
