Amazon offers free apps on limited basis

Amazon offers free apps on limited basis

But it’s hard to be an App Advocate when apps cost money. A price tag, even a small one, on an app is a barrier to people downloading, and if people don’t download the app they will never encourage their friends to download it, either.

Perhaps with this in mind, Amazon is offering 31 paid apps at no charge for a limited time to celebrate Halloween—a holiday which is important to Amazon for some reason.

From now until 11:59PM PDT on October 31, 2015 you can get these apps, which would otherwise cost you $70.00, for free. Titles include AVG Antivirus PRO which normally cost $11.99, Runtastic PRO fitness tracking app which goes for $4.99, Scribblenauts Remix and LEGO Star Wars Microfighters.

Also included:

·         Splashtop Remote Desktop – Regular $5

·         Airport Mania 2: Wild Trips HD – Regular $5

·         Photo Lab PRO – Regular $3

·         Bloons TD 5 – Regular $3

·         Toca Pet Doctor – Regular $3

·         Draw a Stickman: EPIC – Regular $2

·         Bridge Constructor – Regular $2

·         And others

One thing to be cognizant about is that some of these apps have in-app purchases. So while these apps may be technically free, they can still end up costing you a whole lot if you want to experience the full app—or if you have fat fingers.

To access these apps, visit the Amazon appstore on your device before this offer ends.
