The Exchange is an app store-like market where developers and third parties can post and display their extensions. The pitch to partners is that the Exchange provides an effective means of making their extensions discoverable to Marketing Cloud customers.
Developers and partners can post their extensions, screenshots, and descriptions to the Exchange just like other app stores. While Marketing Cloud users can browse the database by categories like Commerce, Content, Mobile, Social, and Video. Extensions on the Exchange can also be browsed by specific Adobe Technologies like Experience Manager and Media Optimizer if users are looking to extend a specific part of the suite.
According to a blog from VP of Marketing Strategy for Adobe Digital Marketing, Suresh Vittal, “Exchange also provides instructions for downloading or activating the various integrations—all of which are available without additional licensing fees for customers of the six primary Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.”
