The two companies contribute their own technologies, trading partner network, resource and transport management, and delivery systems to serve their customers as a single provider with techno-flexible multi-channel supply system of all sizes. This combination will function under the HighJump name and Accellos for supply chain technology. The founder of Accellos, Michael Cornell, has been appointed CEO.
“Discussions with our customers have made it clear that omni-channel is a catalyst for rethinking their supply chain and its underlying technology,” said Cornell, in a press release. “This combination brings extremely complementary technology to both Accellos and HighJump customers. Our collective supply chain execution product portfolio is one of the broadest and most adaptable in the industry, and covers the unique needs of large enterprises, 3PLs, and SMBs. HighJump’s trading partner network is a model for the power of a next generation ‘connect-once, access-all’ network that can provide significant value to Accellos customers. Additionally, HighJump and Accellos share a common culture rooted in a relentless focus on developing innovative products and strong customer support. This focus allowed us to add over 1,100 new customers in 2013 alone. We think this combination will further allow us to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and partners in the future.”
