5 new Nokia phones are now available in Canada

Recently, HMD Global announced that the Nokia 3310 3G, Nokia 1, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.1, are now available in Canada. Best Buy, Canada Computers, Staples and Walmart are all carrying these devices online, and some are also available in-stores at Best Buy and Staples.

“Since launching in December 2016, HMD Global has brought Nokia phones to more than 80 markets around the globe. As a young start-up building on the heritage of one of the industry’s most respected brands, scaling to this global demand has been one of our greatest challenges,” said Maurizio Angelone, Vice President Americas, HMD Global.

Let’s take a look at each device.

Nokia 3310 3G
The cell phone that most of us grew up with is back with a modern look and feel. As a 3G enabled phone with renewed colours and a new user interface, you can now select a theme to suit your needs. The user interface provides a more customizable experience which allows you to change the icon colours and position so that you can get the right look that you’re after. The Nokia 3310 3G has been ergonomically redesigned that makes it feel better in your hand. It has improved the space between buttons making dialling, texting and tweeting more pleasant. You can also talk up to 6.5 hours with this phone and keep it on standby of up to almost a month – 27 days – which is quite impressive.
